About Event

Co-write with fellow writers 📝

Are you passionate about writing—whether it’s a journal, a newsletter, a blog, a research paper, a book, or any other (long) form of written content? The Writers' Room is a space for writers of all kinds to come together, work on their pieces in a focused environment, and enjoy a community lunch.

This meetup is for anyone who loves to write but often finds it hard to set aside time. Bring your laptop, notebook, or any writing tool you prefer. We'll start with a few hours of quiet writing, followed by lunch, where you can connect, share ideas, and discuss your creative journey with fellow writers.

📅 Date: Saturday, May 3rd, 12 pm onwards
📍 Location: MG Road, Bengaluru (Final spot will be shared with approved attendees)
🎟️ Entry fee: No registration fee, food will be self-ordered (venue will be a café)

Meetup Agenda

Here's the (prospective) agenda of the meetup:

  • 12 PM to 3:00 PM: Focus time for writing

  • 3 PM onwards: Show-and-tell

The priority of this meetup is to create space for quiet co-working, so every accepted attendee must carry their laptop, tablet, or notebook (any tool you prefer to use while writing).

Important Note: Not another "networking" event! ❌

Apologies for sounding blunt, but please only apply to attend this meetup if you are willing to spend a couple of hours quietly writing on your own without constantly talking to other people.

The purpose of this meetup is to allow folks to co-write in a common space; there are enough other avenues and events occurring in this city to just talk to other people.
