HR is NOT Your Friend
During this fireside chat, we’ll sit down with Cierra Gross, Founder of Caged Bird HR and Wrk Receipts, to talk about what it really takes to advocate for yourself at work—especially as a Black woman.
In this session, we’ll cover:
Cierra’s journey from Google to launching her own independent HR firm
What she’s learned supporting Black women through Caged Bird HR
Why your company’s HR department isn’t built to protect you
How to document and defend your workplace experience
This conversation is about reclaiming your power and walking into the workplace prepared—with tools, language, and a plan.
