​What We're About

• ​Just founders playing cards. Founder Poker Montreal is a simple concept - gather founders and friends together play cards, network and hang.

• ​It's not about the money. The buy in is $5, and that comes with food and drink. So you are guaranteed to up by the end of the night. Please bring cash!

• ​All are welcome. Haven't played poker before? Don't worry. We do a Poker 101 at the start of each event.

• ​Curated community. We review every application and curate attendees with a bias toward founders an an eye toward diversity.

• ​❗No Show Policy. Each Founder Poker Montreal event is a tournament, so it's essential that we know who is coming. If you sign up, there's a 100% obligation to come, barring life emergencies. Registering & no-showing without notice will get you banned.

​Logistics

• ​Doors open at 6 PM. Please don't come early, our hosts will be busy setting up.

• ​Poker 101 + Mingling - 6:00PM - 6:45PM

• ​Tournament - 6:45 PM - 9:00PM

  • ​3 Tables until 8 PM at latest

  • ​1 Table from 8PM to 9 at the latest

• ​Food - pizza provided by our sponsors

• ​Drinks - beer and non-alcoholic options provided by our sponsors
