​2:20 PM : Impact of Blockchain in our Society by Soorya Nath

​We typically have Shardeum/Web3 ecosystem developers building products and services to speak in our workshops as a way to encourage them and inspire students. Soorya Nath is the CEO of Spathion Labs, a DeFi lending platform for enterprises. He will be giving the speech about the subject topic for you.

​2:40 PM : Workshop - Learn to Create ERC20 Token in 5 Steps
Alim Roshan is your host for the workshop. He will show you how to create your own ERC20 token on blockchain on a step-by-step basis so everyone of you can follow the steps and create a test crypto token with your laptop.

​ERC20 is the technical standard for fungible tokens created using the Ethereum network protocols. While there are few other technical standards out there, ERC20 is the most popular one as a result of its user friendliness. The process will also cover how you can claim 100 SHM testnet tokens. SHM is the ticker symbol of Shardeum's upcoming token called 'Shard'.
