Shardeum Bengaluru Web3 Workshop
Shardeum is the world’s first EVM-based L1 blockchain which scales linearly i.e. the network can scale up by simply adding more nodes. So if there are 50,000 nodes, the network will be able to process close to 50,000 TPS. With 1 million nodes, TPS can scale up to 1 million TPS!
And with Indian origin co-founders, India is naturally closer to the project and we can't be more excited to connect F2F with the Web3 community in Bengaluru! And this time with this lovely workshop session you wouldn't want to miss :)
Prerequisite : Don't forget to bring your laptops to see yourself create wonder on 15th October regardless of whether you have coding knowledge or not!!
Agenda for the meetup :
2:00 PM: Welcome note and introduction to Shardeum
Shardeum core team member will make a presentation about the project, its underlying technology, how community is the CEO of the project and why the community 'must' be the CEO of any Web3 platform. You will also be introduced to how you can join and contribute to the growth of Shardeum.
2:15 PM : Developer Introduction
Our host for the day, Leo Stelon, will introduce you to his NFT marketplace, Spriyo. He will talk about exciting opportunities in Web3 for students, working professionals, and those who are looking to join a Web3 project but don't know where to start.
2:30 PM : Introducing ChainHash by Vaijanath Hiremath
Vaijanath is one of the co-founders of ChainHash and yes he will talk about his project ChainHash which is a DEX aggregator which will offer the entire suite of decentralized products including DeFi, NFTs, SBTs and many more. More importantly, he will talk about how you can become a co-founder yourself in Web3. He started as a Shardeum community member and leveraged his networking skills with other members to form this project. A beautiful story indeed!
2:45 PM : Workshop - "Create Your Own Crypto Token in 5 Steps"
Leo Stelon will now show you how to create your own ERC20 token on blockchain. He will walk you through the process on a step-by-step basis so everyone of you can follow the steps and create a test crypto token (Side note, it won't have real value because you will be creating one on a testnet).
ERC20 is the technical standard for fungible tokens created using the Ethereum network protocols. While there are few other technical standards out there, ERC20 is the most popular one as a result of its user friendliness. The process will also cover how you can claim 100 SHM testnet tokens. SHM is the ticker symbol of Shardeum's upcoming cryptocurrency called 'Shard'.
4:00 PM : Introducing 'StackOS' - Nishit Sanil, DevRel
Nishit will talk about the various decentralized infrastructures that is required for smooth operation of Web3 ecosystem, opportunities for you in this space and what is the need for a decentralized version of cloud service (like AWS)?
4:15 PM : Networking
Time for some networking. Talk to experts more personally and exchange your ideas with others at the event. You just might meet your future co-founder, business partner, employer or a fellow Web3 enthusiast. You never know!!

About Us:
Shardeum : Shardeum is the world's first EVM-based linearly scalable L1 blockchain that uses sharding to increase TPS (throughput) with the addition of every new node thereby overcoming scalability/blockchain trilemma for once and for all. The motto of Shardeum is to bring decentralization to everyone and onboard billions of people to Web3!
StackOS: StackOS is the fastest-growing DeCloud (decentralized cloud), where you can run high-traffic applications like full-stack apps, DApps, blockchain nodes, and websites.
