About Event

#vtjtalks monthly events bring together entrepreneurs, executives, talent, investors, and tech community members to network and learn.

From forest fires to rising sea levels, British Columbia is on the front lines of climate change. This region faces some of the most visible and immediate impacts, making it clear that climate change is not a distant threat, but a present reality that demands our urgent attention. The stakes are high, as this issue poses one of the most significant challenges to our environment, economy, and communities. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed when considering where to even begin addressing such a monumental problem.

Thankfully, there is hope. Across B.C., we have visionary leaders in climatetech who are not only helping us adapt to a rapidly changing climate but are also driving innovation to mitigate its effects. Among these leaders are trailblazing women who are at the forefront of this movement, using their expertise, creativity, and passion to develop solutions that will shape the future of our planet.

Join us this month for an exclusive event that highlights the work of these impactful companies led by extraordinary individuals. Gain insights into what it takes to combat a warming world and learn from the experiences of passionate experts who are leading the charge in climatetech. Their stories of resilience, innovation, and leadership are not just inspiring—they are essential to understanding how we can collectively rise to the challenge of climate change.

Who should attend? Whether you are in the early stages of developing a climate-focused solution, a startup seeking that first round of investment, a concerned citizen, or someone looking to make a difference, this event offers a unique opportunity to connect with and learn from those who are changing the face of climatetech and also investing in gamechanging solutions.
