What is FULGOR

FULGOR is more than a simple exhibition; it's a vibrant cultural experience that brings together a variety of artistic disciplines in one place. The event will feature an art exhibition, DJ set, and live musical performances. It's a space where creativity and community come together to celebrate Latin American diversity and talent.
In this second edition, we continue to bring art to unconventional spaces—this time in what was once a Späti just meters from Gesundbrunnen station. We renew our commitment to exploring and celebrating the cultural richness of our Latin American artists to share it with the entire Berlin community.

Participating Artists:

What Makes FULGOR Unique

FULGOR stands out for its inclusive and accessible approach. Our curation is diverse and prioritizes representation from multiple disciplines and Latin American countries. Unlike many other events, we don't charge artists to participate nor take commissions from their artwork sales. All proceeds from artwork sales go directly to the artists.

This year we're once again joined by exclusive imported wines from Argentina (Malbec, rosé, and Chardonnay) from Calot Wines. The event is completely self-managed, which allows us to maintain our independence and guarantee an authentic and free space for artistic expression. We want FULGOR to be a social as well as cultural event, a place where the public can enjoy an enriching and memorable experience that brings together the best of Latin American culture in Berlin.

About Alterfocus

Alterfocus is a platform created in 2020 with the mission of connecting the Latin American community in Berlin through art and culture. Our name combines the Latin terms "Alter" (other) and "Focus" (home/fire), reflecting our goal of being an alternative home for Latinos in Berlin.

Since our first event, "Tip of the Iceberg," we have grown and evolved, providing an inclusive space where artists and the community can collaborate and share their talents. Our conviction is that creativity flourishes best in a collaborative environment.
