​All of October is Menopause Awareness Month - but even with the social destigmatisation, improved support and universality of experience, menopause still remains one of the most misunderstood and overlooked phases of life, particularly in the workplace 🤷🏻‍♀️
So we're doing something about it. WTH is excited to host you all for a powerful, informative session on this critical topic, led by Lisa Saunders and Natalie Moore, renowned women’s health and lifestyle coaches from Own Your Health Collective, as well as workplace performance and wellbeing consultants.
Following the presentation, an expert panel of medical professionals will provide a comprehensive look at menopause and the transformative potential of health technology in improving women’s health outcomes:
🥼Dr Ceri Cashell is a leading voice in women’s hormonal health, specialising in menopause, perimenopause, and hormone-related mental health issues. With 20 years experience as a practicing GP and now co-founder of Healthy Hormones, a menopause education platform for clinicians and the general public, Dr Ceri is passionate about raising awareness how sex hormones impact every single cell in the body.
🥼 Dr Mabel Yen Ngoc Nguyen is the co-founder of EloCare. Mabel focuses on providing solutions to support the aging and chronic care sector. Her startup team, EloCare, is developing smart and connected healthcare devices, including a solution to help midlife women manage their menopausal health more effectively. She has been awarded as one of the Top 50 Asia Women Tech Leaders in 2024 and Singapore's 100 Women in Tech in 2021.
🥼 Dr Megan Young, is a Specialist General Practitioner with a passion for women's health, providing bespoke treatments for weight loss and menopause symptoms. She is a tenanted clinician at Women’s Health Road. Dr Young has experience in women's health and family planning, having worked in organisations such as True and Family Planning NSW.
Hosted by: Jess Blomfield is an organisational behaviour specialist and passionate perimenopause advocate, currently doing research and building community on the themes of "the Millenopause" and menopause & the workplace from a workforce participation / economic lens.
