SF Climate Week: Methane Reduction Intensive
On Monday, April 22nd, Azolla Ventures in partnership with The Astra Project, FullCycle, Spark Climate Solutions, and Overview Capital is hosting a Methane Reduction Intensive as part of SF Climate Week.
The convening is an invite-only, half-day intensive focused on solutions implementation taking inspiration from similar events hosted by The Astra Project at New York Climate Week and the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos.
Leaders from funds, corporates, non-profits and governments will be in dialogue to learn and participate in workshops focused on methane reduction.
Following COP28 in Dubai and the Global Methane Forum in Geneva, this intensive is designed to catalyze accelerated methane action by aligning solutions, investments and commercial adoption.
The convening will pose key questions to its participants to provoke action and spur cooperation for solutions implementation. How can the private sector play a more substantive role to reduce methane emissions? How can we create more enduring pathways for capital, innovation and policy to align for methane reduction? How can we incorporate further methane mitigation into existing climate and nature commitments?
