We Build With AI: From Bolt to Cursor for Beginners
Have you gotten stuck in Bolt/Lovable/Replit after a few hours of vibe coding a project? Have you downloaded Cursor but didn’t find it as intuitive as those other platforms? Then this workshop is for you!
Join us for a hands-on workshop where you’ll use Bolt’s AI coding assistant to create and deploy an app from scratch. Then we’ll show you how you can connect your Bolt project to GitHub and pull it into Cursor to use more advanced tools like MCP to overcome coding challenges...in under 2 hours...with no previous coding experience required. All attendees get a free month of Bolt Pro ($20 value), and new Cursor users get a 14-day free trial of Cursor Pro.
During the workshop you will learn how to:
Use Bolt to create an initial project
Connect to GitHub to share your project
Use Cursor's more advanced tools like MCP
Publish to Bolt to redeploy your app

12:00 PM - Networking, snacks, and prepare your tech stack
12:15 PM - Overview of Bolt + creating an example project
12:45 PM - Overview of Cursor + connect the example project
1:15 PM - Create your own app in Bolt and connect it to Cursor (optional but encouraged)
1:45 PM - 3 participants present 4-minute demos of what they built (optional but encouraged)
