SEATAC Tour [YPT Members Only]
Join YPT Seattle and the Port of Seattle for a tour of the SEA baggage system! More than 50 million passengers traveled through the Seattle-Tacoma Airport in 2023, and that also means moving a LOT of luggage. On this tour, we'll get a behind-the-scenes look at:

How airport baggage operations function
Life of a bag, ticket counter to aircraft
The challenges and opportunities with day-to-day operations
This tour has limited capacity, so this event will be open to members only! RSVP as soon as possible to guarantee your spot. We will be attempting to organize a carpool for those who are able to register.
Accessibility Notice: The baggage system is essentially an active construction zone, as such, this tour is currently unable to support any accessibility challenges, based on the configuration of the system and the route of the tour.

Young Professionals in Transportation – Seattle (YPT Seattle) is an effort to connect transportation professionals in the Greater Seattle area, with an emphasis on bringing new transportation professionals to the table.
