SBC Visit Mr. Frosty's!
Hello Readers!
Get ready for an outside meeting with SBC!
We will be hosting a small gathering at Mr. Frosty's Ice Cream 1st Street, Norwalk, CT at 19 Day Street, South Norwalk CT, on Tuesday May 27th, from 6 - 8 pm! There is limited street parking.
We can only accommodate 35 people at this event, so be sure to register in advance in Luma.
Since this event is outside we will be monitoring the weather as the date nears.
This will be a relaxed evening filled with good books, great company, and sweet treats! Here’s what to expect:
Meeting Flow:
6:00 - 6:30 PM: Arrive, settle in, and grab a drink or snack (and maybe say hi to a new face or two!).
6:30 - 7:30 PM: Our famous quiet reading time. Bring your current read or discover something new—we’ll have book suggestions ready if you’re looking for inspiration. Don't forget those headphones if you’re listening to an audiobook!
7:30 - 8:00 PM: Time to chat! Whether it’s about the book you’re loving, a new recommendation, or just swapping fun stories, this is the time to share.
Our Mobile Library will be there, so if you’ve got books you’re ready to pass on or swap, bring them along. It's all about sharing the love of reading—one book at a time.
