Welcome:

We are excited to invite you to the Second Green AI Summit, co-hosted by Harvard AI and Sustainability Group, Boston University Center for Information and Systems Engineering (CISE) and Green AI Institute. Here, global leaders, innovators, and policymakers will gather to explore how artificial intelligence can drive sustainable development.

Under the theme "Green AI for Global Sustainable Development," the summit will highlight the pivotal role of AI in advancing Environmental, Social, and Governance initiatives and contributing to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Through keynote speeches, panel discussions, and interactive workshops, the summit aims to foster collaboration and inspire progress toward a smarter, greener future.

Panel Information:

Panel 1: AI and Data Center Energy Usage and Environmental Impact

Address the environmental impact of AI technologies and data centers, focusing on energy consumption, carbon emissions, and innovative solutions for sustainability. Experts will explore strategies for aligning data centers' operational needs with global sustainability goals, addressing challenges such as renewable energy sourcing, water usage, and cooling systems.
