Low Barrier Entry to Running
The first one was bomb diggity so I am squeezing one more in before I head out for some travels.
This is for anyone intimidated to start running because you've never done it, you hate it, everything hurts, are afraid, lack motivation, but deep down you might want to.
No previous experience or training is needed.
I'm going to lead you through a fun morning of getting moving. We'll do about a short warmup, a 30 minute session of run/walk, then spend about 30 minutes walking n' talking.
I am also a yoga teacher, so I might throw in a little something yoga-y for you... like minute-meditation, breathwork, something also very beginner friendly/entry level to getting your body to move and breathe.
Come start with me.
Still feel like you're on the struggle run bus, make this commitment to register and just show up. That's it. Show up and say hello.
If you came to the first one, come to the second one and keep building on what you have started. Strengthen your consistency muscles.
Share with anyone else that might need a little kick in the boo-tay or group encouragement.
Google Maps in case the other link doesn't work (cause it's giving me issues):

MEETUP IS AT W 86th St and Central Park West, just inside the park on the main loop road. There is a walkway from the northside of 86th st that leads into the park, it runs into the main active road in the park, go to that intersection point and I'll be there.
