About Savej:

Born and raised in the wild depths of Louisiana’s Honey Island Swamp, Savej [pron. “savage”] delivers a one-of-a-kind fusion of ancient medicine music and modern bass. His signature “Ancient Future” sound blends world music, organic soundscapes, tribal grooves, and high- energy bass, infused with a distinct swampy flair that bridges the gap between cultures and eras.

Savej’s live experience is an immersive sonic ceremony, taking audiences on a rollercoaster ride through the sacred and the profane—the mystical and the irresistibly groovy—while deeply reconnecting them to the human experience and the natural world. From stages like the legendary Luna Stage at Envision Festival in Costa Rica to the A-Lot at Area 15 in Las Vegas, Savej continues to push the boundaries of electronic music, offering a transformative, high-energy celebration that’s both grounding and invigorating.

Savej holds a deep passion for his frequent collaborations with indigenous tribes and continues to be entrusted as a bridge to infuse timeless medicine songs into his music, a mission which directly supports the cultures they originate from through donation of record sales and creation of NFTs infusing indigenous art and music.

Yoga with Sal

Opening up the day’s events will be a gentle movement class. Sal carries over a decade of yoga teaching experience and is excited to set the space with intention, breathwork, and other meditative practices.  Her facilitation style is geared towards all levels; come as you are, and let your afternoon begin with prayerful grace.  There will be plenty of room for people to flow in and out as we warm up the dance floor.

Māla o ka Pono is navigating the desire to host an authentic dance experience and also welcome community togetherness.  Because there will be families, food, and fun besides dancing, we want to encourage everyone to Do Their Best in keeping the dance sacred and the vibes positive.

Pre-order your tickets and car passes, as we only have a limited quantity available.  Your ticket purchase directly supports our sustainable organic farm.  We are immensely grateful to tend this aina and grow this community event space with you!

Please plan to carpool with friends so you can arrive early and give yourself ample time to explore our orchards and gardens.

This event is All Ages and we encourage families to show up in creative expression– costumes, facepaint, flow toys, and props are all welcome.  Parents, please make sure to have eyes on your keiki during the dance (for sound quality and ear protection, we advise children must be 20 feet away from speakers at all times), and do not bring any pets to the land.

You will receive the location and direction to our farm in Ha’iku, Maui, in your confirmation email.  There is no alcohol allowed on this property and you will be turned away and asked to leave if you are intoxicated.
