About Event

Come join us to learn how to effectively prepare for the SAT and ACT, with advice from four of our very own panelists: Trisha, Jenny, Anish, and Mihael!

Our panelists will share strategies for each individual section (reading, writing, math, science for ACT), provide an overview of the tests overall, and share practical study habits to develop score increases. We will also dedicate a portion in the end for audience Q&A!

Mihael (1560 SAT, 36 ACT)

Hey there, I'm Mihael and I'm a rising freshman at Duke University. I'm currently planning on a Biomedical Engineering major as well as minors in Math and French. In high school, I did math and science competitions, robotics, quiz bowl, ultimate frisbee, and chess. My SAT score is a 1560 with perfect scores in the math and writing sections, and my ACT score is a 36 with perfect scores in math/science/writing. I've always enjoyed teaching and tutoring because they allow me to share my gifts with others, and I'm excited to do so today!

Trisha (1550 SAT - 800 Math, 750 EBRW)

Hi everyone! My name is Trisha, and I’m an incoming student at NYU for biology. I am a huge science nerd, an ultimate frisbee player, and I love to teach, hence why I joined EduVisa. My SAT score is a 1550, with perfect scores in the writing and math sections. I'm excited to be here with you all!

Jenny (1500 SAT - 800 Math, 700 EBRW)

Hi everyone! I'm Jenny, a rising senior who loves doing business-related activities. In the last two years, I've been apart of student council, a Junior Achievement Company, and EduVisa. My SAT superscore is a 1500, with a perfect score in the math section. I hope I can help you all achieve your dream score!

Anish (35 ACT Math, 33 ACT Science)

Hello, I am Anish. I am currently a rising college freshman and a prospective Computer Science attending FIU & GaTech. Throughout high school, I was involved with research, internships, science bowl, science Olympiad, robotics, and web development. I also scored a 35 on the ACT Math section. I'm excited to help you reach your dream scores in these sections!
