Devon Walker is a somatic awareness coach and a meditation guide for Vipassana and Metta techniques based in the Buddhist tradition. His first experience with meditation was when he used Headspace to help deal with the stress of running a startup in 2014. His practice took its first big leap during a 10-day Vipassana course (taught by S.N. Goenka) in 2015.
5 years, several more courses, and a few thousand hours of meditation later, Devon's practice took its second big evolution when he was called upon to teach a 30-day meditation course in the mountains of Colombia and a 90-day meditation course to a group during the pandemic.
Devon also has a background as a management consultant, social impact entrepreneur, and leader of product teams in the tech industry. He is deeply involved with men's emotional leadership work as a facilitator and group leader for Evryman.

Definitions
Anapana Ānāpānasati in sanskrit means "mindfulness of breathing", which is a form of Buddhist meditation originally taught by Gautama Buddha and meant to develop mastery of the mind.
Vipassana means "insight" or "clear seeing", a way of self-transformation through self-observation. It focuses on the deep interconnection between mind and body and aims to develop equanimity and internal harmony between the mind and the body.
Metta in the Pali language means positive energy and kindness towards others. The practice is also known as loving-kindness meditation.
