Intro to Open Source

​Join us for our Open Source 101 Workshop, where we dive into the world of open source software and equip you with the skills and knowledge to become a new contributor. Discover the principles behind open source, learn how to navigate GitHub, and explore effective collaboration strategies.

​Before attending the workshop, please complete the following steps:

1. Join our Discord Community: Join our Discord server to gain access to the dedicated channel for asking questions and engaging with fellow participants. This will be a space for collaboration and support during and after the workshop.

2. Create a GitHub Account: If you don't already have one, please create a GitHub account. GitHub will be an essential platform for us during the workshop, enabling collaboration and version control for your open source projects.

3. Create an OpenSauced Account: As part of the workshop, we will be utilizing the OpenSauced platform. Please create an account on OpenSauced. 

​4. Review Sections 1-4 and ⭐ our course repo: All materials are live and will continue to be available to the public.
