Star Atlas - Community Meetup - DinnerCruise
Atlas Brew Meetup - Breakpoint '23
Welcome to the Netherlands! While Breakpoint is ongoing nearby, we are organizing a community meetup in two parts:
Early dinner on a boat that traverses the canals of Amsterdam. This will last 2 hours. Dinner consists of a luxurious Indonesian buffet!
Socializing and drinks in a venue in the center of Amsterdam. This will start at 20:10 and last until 23:00.
This Lu.ma event is for the very first of these: The dinner cruise! There is a separate event for the second part of the evening.
The good news: The boat will drop us off within walking distance of the café/restaurant where we will meet for the second part of the meetup!
Important Details
If you do not register at least one week in advance, you likely won't be able to join!
There is limited capacity, so don't wait too long to register. First come, first serve!
Costs are 74 EUR / person, which have to be paid up-front. We are looking into payment solutions atm.
The boat leaves at exactly 18:00. If you are not there, even if you paid, we can't do anything about it. In other words, make sure you are there before 18:00!
The boat will not return to the IJcatcher! Instead, the trip will end near the cafe/restaurant where part 2 of the evening kicks off.
Registrations will close on October 26th, 08:00 UTC. Please register before that date!
We hope to see you there!
p.s. Dinner may be early for some, but we're doing this Dutch style. People have early dinner in this country.
p.s.2. Why Indonesian food? Because the Dutch love it! Indonesia was a Dutch colony for well over a century. And though this period was nothing to be proud of, it added many new and delicious options to the Dutch cuisine!
Given that traditional Dutch cuisine consists mostly of mashed potatoes and veggie dishes (with a small piece of meat), we chose this option instead.
