2024 London Defence Tech Hackathon

​This is an expression of interest for the next hackathon in London on April 17th and 18th in 2025. You can see what people built in last years hackathon here and a behind the scenes video here.

​Skyral, Future Forces, Apollo Defence and Lambda Automata hosted a defence tech hackathon in the hub of the United Kingdom's tech scene — to connect the UK’s brightest young minds with cutting-edge startups, venture capitalists, and U.K. national security leadership and users.

​​Our past partners included D3 VC, Startup Coalition, 201 Ventures, NATO Innovation Fund, IQ Capital, Entropy Industrial Capital, Project A, HCVC and the National Security Strategic Investment Fund.

​​In collaboration with military units, governments and a network of the highest calibre investors we worked on unique problem sets ranging from robotic teaming to electronic warfare. We also had access to space in order to build and test products.

​​Equipped with the space and guidance necessary to develop and deploy solutions in the real world, attendees were encouraged to work on additional open-ended problem sets within defence, national security and wider deep technology where software, hardware and/or AI are fundamental building blocks.
