About Event

On Wednesday, 6/4 at 3 PM EST, we'll continue our work on low-carbon concrete advocacy projects, including debriefing the May 21st webinar for local and state officials.

The Blockheads/LECCLA Action Team is a group of people who want to pursue Low-Embodied Carbon Concrete legislation in their town, city, or state, whether through local codes, financial incentives, Buy Clean procurement laws, or performance standards. The purpose of the Action Team is to provide resources, structure, and a place to share strategies and learn from others.

To learn more about how concrete could become a big part of the solution to climate change, click here for a short video, "Low Carbon Concrete," with Bruce King, author of "The New Carbon Architecture, Building to Cool the Climate."

*LECCLA = Low Embodied Carbon Concrete Leadership Act, a New Jersey bill that was passed in late 2022.
