Green Tech Startup Session #3 With Earth Catalyst
NEW: Preview deck to give you a view of some of what we'll go over on today's call.
NOTE: This call will NOT be recorded, so everyone feels more comfortable speaking freely.
You're invited to join Marshall Kirkpatrick and the Earth Catalyst team and for our monthly conversations about your green tech startup challenges & opportunities. It's free consulting and it's a lot of fun.
I've worked with many different startups over the past 20 years, at every stage of the startup journey, and this is the most high-leverage intervention we can think of to help advance the global transformation toward sustainability.
Who This is and Isn't Suited For
We are chefs who love our recipes, but we know some people just want the meal. If that's you, drop us a line directly (marshall@earthcatalyst.co) and we can talk in terms of how we can help you grow revenue, reduce risk, and reduce costs!
These Startup Session events are best suited to our fellow chefs who enjoy seeing how the meal is made; often making their own version later.
What We'll Do
We'll bring tools, models, and what we call our AI Prism to help you move your green tech company forward. We'll share comparables and connections we think might help unlock more momentum for your work.
Before the call we'll send you:
Challenge selector: A tree map breaking down business challenges faced when growing revenue, reducing costs, and reducing risk, in order to help you an area you'd like to address on the call
Incasting model: A simple foresight model called Incasting, to help you paint a clear picture of what your business would look like with that challenge resolved
Then, based on what you tell us you're working on - we'll bring an artifact we call our AI Prism, which is a method of looking at a topic through a cascading series of about 20 different analytical lenses - from systems thinking to a CFO's perspective. (People who like that kind of thing tend to say WOW when they see it.) We'll run one on your area of interest and give it to you as thanks for your participation.
What Past Participants Say
Paul Cruickshank, founding member of carbon insetting starup Carbon3, who participated in session #2 said: "I really learned a lot, and appreciate the time and care that you spent going through each company."
Corey Pudhorodsky, founder of climatesuccess.earth, said this about his participation in call #1 of the series: "I'm so grateful for that experience and collaboration. There's been a few themes that have bubbled up in my mind since then that tells me that we touched on some important items."
About Us
Earth Catalyst is lead by Marshall Kirkpatrick. I've engaged with thousands of startups over nearly 20 years, from being the lead writer at TechCrunch, to raising 3 rounds of startup financing as a founder, to helping build Sprinklr from $100M to $400M and through an IPO, and working as a VP at a global VC fund. I've been a trailblazing innovative leader in all of those roles, too, if you don't mind me saying so!
I've built a global network of innovative friends, and a tech early-adopter's mindset, to help build capacity for green tech and sustainability organizations. We can help with strategy, marketing, sales, analyst and competitive intelligence, foresight and more.
Our series of calls
Starting in January 2025, we're going to do one monthly call for green tech startups (that's this one) and a second one for sustainability-oriented activist organizations.
We're also doing a Q2 kick off call, where we'll show off our AI system for strategic thinking and risk exploration. We showed it off at our Q1 kick off and people really liked it.
Sign up here to receive updates and we hope you'll join us for a Friday conversation.
