Why We Need Trauma Informed Recruiting & Hiring Practices
Over 70% of US Adults self-identify as having one or more traumatic experiences in their lifetimes and those impacts are showing up in the workplace. Join Stephanie Lemek, Former HR Executive and current Founder & CEO of The Wounded Workforce for a session on how we can build more trauma informed workplace cultures. Stephanie will share her work with The Wounded Workforce and how we can better understand trauma, how it shows up at work and how to build cultures that support everyone regardless of trauma status. She'll also dive into how talent acquisition professionals can leverage trauma informed practices in their day-to-day work to make candidates and their own experiences more trauma informed.
