About Event

DC Tech Meetup is focused on highlighting innovation and bringing the tech community of DC together - and this month we're celebrating what we have accomplished together in 2024!

Every month you'll see product demos from companies based right here in the DMV. No pitches, no sales, just tech.

In February, we'll be highlighting companies who have participated in local accelerator programs.

[5:30pm] Networking & Tabling from Local Accelerators

[6:00pm] Welcome

[6:15pm] DC Tech Demos & Panel

Demo #1: Onyeka Otugo, founder of Nadv.Rx. Nadv.Rx is an audio solution designed to simplify complex emergency department discharge instructions, addressing language and literacy barriers to help patients better understand and manage their care. Nadv.Rx not only enhances patient comprehension but also helps hospital systems reduce costly return visits to the emergency department and avoidable admissions caused by poor health literacy. Participated in the Black Girl Ventures program.

Demo #2: Roselle Safran, founder of KeyCaliber. KeyCaliber’s platform enables organizations to prioritize what matters most to reduce cyber risk, improve security posture, and build cyber resilience. Leveraging machine learning, it automatically shows organizations what cyber assets they have, which are most critical, which are highest risk, and how the assets are connected to form business processes. Participated in CivStart.

Demo #3: Kobby Osei-Kusi, founder of Pirl Technology. Pirl is empowering anyone to deliver charging as a service to their customers. Participated in Halcyon.

Demo #4: Charles Cathlin of Polaris Genomics, where they are using the power of genomics to unlocked new PTSD research and treatments. Participated in the JLABS accelerator at Johnson & Johnson.

& a panel moderated by Darius Clair featuring these 4 fantastic founders.

[7:20pm] Community Open Mic: This is your chance to introduce yourself to the room in 20 seconds and pitch YOUR thing!

[7:30pm] Networking & Tabling from Local Accelerators
