​What We're About

• ​Keep it simple. Founders and friends playing cards, eating pizza and hanging out. C'est ca!

• ​It's not about the money. $5 buy in, free food and drink. So you can't lose. Please bring cash.

• ​All are welcome. Haven't played poker before? Don't worry. We hold a Poker 101 at the start of each event.

• ​Curated community. We review every application and curate attendees with a bias toward founders and overall diversity.

• ​❗No Show Policy. Each Founder Poker Montreal event is a tournament, so it's essential that we know who is coming. If you sign up, there's a 100% obligation to come, barring life emergencies. Registering & no-showing without notice will get you banned.

​Logistics

• ​Doors open at 6 PM. Please don't come early, our hosts will be busy setting up.

• ​Poker 101 + Mingling - 6:00PM - 6:45PM

• ​Tournament - 6:45 PM - 9:00PM

  • ​4 Tables until ~8 PM

  • ​1 Table from 8PM to 9PM

• ​Food and Drink - pizza, beer and non-alcoholic options provided by our sponsors
