​Spring in partnership with BDC, is thrilled to invite you to the Toronto event of the Raise + Rise: Connection Series on Tuesday October 29th.

​​This is more than just an event—it’s a movement! Want to discover how you can access like-minded capital, raise equity or simply engage in conversations that help Black women win? Then this evening is for YOU. Expect an evening bursting with inspiring conversations, personal stories, and plenty of laughs- featuring brilliant founders, ecosystem champions, and dedicated allies—all while enjoying a vibrant happy hour filled with food, drinks, and great company!

​This event is proudly catered by Toronto based, Black female-owned businesses Edible Bliss and Classic Juice Co.

• ​5:30 PM – 6:00 PM
  Doors open! Time for some “warm-up mingling”—because every great connection starts with a smile, a handshake, and maybe a conversation about the weather.
  

• ​6:00 PM – 6:10 PM
  Official welcome and opening remarks by BDC—a little inspiration from our sponsors to set the tone for the evening.
  

• ​6:10 PM – 6:30 PM
  Sit back and soak up stories from founders in this community—insights, laughs, and “aha!” moments guaranteed.
  

• ​6:30 PM – 7:30 PM
  Time to connect, share ideas, and make new friends—over good food and even better drinks. This is where conversations turn into collaborations and moments turn into memories.
  

• ​7:30 PM – Close
  We’ll wrap things up, but the connections? Those will keep growing long after the lights go out and we say goodbye
