​A quiet and meditative tale set on a floating temple surrounded by nature’s changing seasons. This film follows the life of a young boy raised by a wise monk, as he grows through the cycles of innocence, desire, loss, and renewal. With each season, the story unfolds like a prayer, a reflection on time, impermanence, and the rhythms of the human spirit.

​We chose Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter… and Spring for movie night at Wu Wei because it holds a kind of quiet that speaks to us. The film follows a young boy and an old monk living on a floating temple, as the boy grows through cycles of innocence, desire, consequence, and return.

​There’s little dialogue and no drama in the usual sense. Just time moving, nature changing, and a life unfolding. It’s the kind of film that doesn’t explain itself but lets you sit inside it. Like Wu Wei, it offers space,  not answers and trusts that something in you will meet it.
