Icons of Impact Mountain West Retreat - Jeffersonian Dinner
Saturday · July 19 · 7 p.m.
EDGE Restaurant, Four Seasons Denver
Step out of the conference room and into a single, extended table where titles disappear and ideas do the talking. Modeled after Thomas Jefferson’s legendary salon suppers, this curated evening gathers a cross-section of the Mountain West Fellowship—family-office principals, athlete-investors, technologists, researchers, and cultural icons such as Ray Lewis and his Ray of Hope team—for a guided, high-trust dialogue on the future of impact.
The Concept
One question at a time, one voice at a time. A professional moderator rotates prompts—“Which capital structure best rewards long-cycle social ROI?” “What breakthrough will redefine community mental health by 2030?”—ensuring every perspective is surfaced and sharpened.
The Focus
Venture-philanthropy mechanics: recoverable grants & revenue-share notes
Co-investment pathways in youth mental-health tech, sports innovation, and economic mobility
Shared risks, blind spots, and trend lines distilled from the day’s workshop
The Flow
Welcome Toast – mission framing & introductions
Round-Robin Dialogues – guided questions, timed contributions
Commitment Call – each guest pledges capital, expertise, or access
Action Ledger – next steps and pairings captured for post-retreat execution
Networking Nightcap – informal mingling to deepen new alliances
The Culinary Experience
EDGE’s executive chef presents a bespoke multi-course menu—Colorado forage to global finesse—each plate matched with a sommelier-curated wine pairing. The progression of flavors mirrors the evening’s intellectual arc: opening notes to spark curiosity, rich main courses to nourish deep debate, and a luminous dessert course to celebrate a collective vision. Dietary preferences are welcomed with a 72-hour notice.
Expect candid insight, rigorous debate, and a collective commitment that transforms dinner conversation into actionable strategy for Colorado—and a blueprint for national scale.
