About Event

Are you newly diagnosed with ADHD, or maybe you’ve started noticing signs in yourself or someone you care about?

Whether you have a formal diagnosis or are simply ADHD-curious, this free virtual workshop is for you. Led by one of Shift Collab’s ADHD therapy experts, Olivia Vander Vloet, we’ll explore what ADHD means, how therapy can help, and how our clinic supports you, wherever you are on your ADHD journey.

For many, getting (or even suspecting) an ADHD diagnosis brings more questions than answers. You might leave an assessment, or your own research, with lots of information but no clear direction for what comes next.

This session helps bridge that gap. We’ll give a brief, accessible overview of how ADHD can show up in adults, and then dive into what happens after the “aha” moment: how therapy can build skills, support emotional regulation, and help you create sustainable momentum.

We won’t just cover checklists or symptoms, we’ll talk about real-life challenges like motivation, overwhelm, prioritizing, and self-criticism. You’ll also learn about the evidence-based approaches our therapists use, and how we tailor support for different ADHD experiences.

No matter your starting point, diagnosed, self-identifying, or just wondering, you’ll leave with a better understanding of what ADHD-informed therapy looks like and how Shift Collab can help you move forward.

During the one hour workshop, we’ll dive into:

  • A quick overview of how ADHD impacts attention, emotion, and executive functioning in adulthood

  • What to expect after diagnosis: a range of emotions are normal from relief, confusion, validation, grief AND what therapy offers in response

  • How therapy can help at every stage

  • An introduction to evidence-based therapy methods (what they are and how they can help)

  • Real tools and strategies used in sessions

  • What therapy typically looks like at Shift Collab

  • What to expect in early sessions, and how care evolves over time

The session ends with a brief overview of how to start therapy at the ADHD Clinic by Shift Collab, and what support looks like when it’s tailored to your brain, your goals, and your pace.

It’s all happening on Wednesday, July 23rd at 7 PM ET. And yes, it’s totally free! Whether you’re a current Shift client or just Shift-curious, this is a space for you.
