About Event

When we talk about startups, our minds often turn to giants like Apple, Google, and Facebook. Rarely do we consider products like cans of Celsius or bottles of Prime as "startups," yet they all began as fledgling brands. This point is underscored by a revealing statistic: among the most recent CNVC teams, there were 4 hard tech startups, 9 software startups, and only 1 consumer packaged goods (CPG) company - Bellie.

Yet, the data show that consumer spending accounts for 2/3 of US GDP, and compared with enterprise companies, consumer companies are more likely to go public after raising a Series B, more likely to drive efficient growth at the time of an initial public offering and just as likely to trade at 10 times revenue at the time of IPO. But overall investments in consumer companies have gone down in recent years.

Join us on Thursday, March 28th 5-6PM to hear from Andrea Popova, founder of CPGD.XYZ, and the Bellie team (CNVC) on why they believe in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry and the insights they've gained by building their ideas.

Pizzas and drinks will be served.
