More about the panelists:

Dr. Aseem Malhotra is a British-trained consultant cardiologist and visiting professor of evidence-based medicine at the Bahiana School of Medicine in Brazil. He is renowned for his advocacy against over-medication and the overuse of statins, as well as his campaigns promoting reduced sugar consumption to combat obesity and type 2 diabetes. Dr. Malhotra has authored several books, including The Pioppi Diet, and has been recognized among the UK's top 500 most influential people by The Sunday Times in 2016.

Brigid Rasmussen serves as the Chief Operating Officer of MAHA Action, a grassroots organization focused on transforming America's health system. With a background in political advocacy, she previously served as the Chief of Staff for Robert F. Kennedy Jr., contributing to his presidential campaign and advocacy efforts. Her leadership at MAHA Action emphasizes health reform and community-based approaches to improving the American healthcare landscape.

Travis McCormick is an Austin-based government relations and communications consultant with over a decade of experience in leadership positions in government and political campaigns. As the founder of Make Texans Healthy Again (MTHA), he advocates for systemic health reform in Texas, focusing on reducing chronic disease through policy change and public education. McCormick previously served as Chief of Staff to Railroad Commissioner Wayne Christian and has managed numerous successful political campaigns across Texas.

Courtney Swan is an integrative nutritionist and founder of Realfoodology, a platform dedicated to educating the public on the importance of whole, unprocessed foods and advocating for systemic change in the U.S. food industry. She earned her Master of Science in Nutrition and Integrative Health from the Maryland University of Integrative Health and has built a substantial online presence through her podcast, which has featured over 200 guests, including prominent health experts and policymakers. Swan is also known for her advocacy work, having testified at a U.S. Senate hearing on the corruption within the food and agriculture industries, highlighting her commitment to promoting transparency and healthier food systems.

Brian Sanders is a health influencer, filmmaker, and founder of Sapien.org, Nose to Tail, and the Sapien Center in Austin, Texas. He is the creator of the Food Lies documentary and the host of the Peak Human podcast, where he explores optimal human health through ancestral nutrition and modern science. With a background in mechanical engineering and a passion for health, Sanders advocates for nutrient-dense, whole foods and regenerative agriculture to combat chronic disease and promote well-being.​
