Small fish, big pond: Managing the transition to high school

At 1:00pm on Tuesday 22nd August and 6:30pm on Wednesday 30th August, KYDS Youth Development Service will be offering a free webinar for parents and teachers to help their child/student manage the leap into the big pond in the best way possible!

An introduction to mental health concepts
Effective ways to build healthy habits
About the organisation
Since 2005, KYDS Youth Development Service has offered free and ongoing counselling to young people and their families with no mental health or GP referral needed.
Their team of over 20 counsellors, youth workers and psychologists deliver over 5000 sessions to more than 400 families each year, with offices at Lindfield, Hornsby, Waitara, Avalon, Kirribilli, Gordon and St Ives.
They also deliver in-school workshops and presentations on mental heath & resilience, transition to high school, young men’s & young women’s issues, and managing the HSC years.
