Chicago Community Climate Resilience Workshop
We invite you to join us for the Chicago Community Climate Resiliency Workshop on Wednesday, September 13, 2023.
The Workshop is co-hosted with the support of Region 5 team members, Advocate Health, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH) in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), University of Illinois Chicago, School of Public Health, Cook County Public Health, City of Chicago Public Health, RUSH Medical Center, RUSH University, and Health Care Without Harm.
The goal of the Chicago Community Climate Resiliency Workshop is to spotlight climate mitigation and resiliency work, and to pursue the following objectives:
Build awareness around climate resiliency work.
Explore both the overlap and the gaps where collaboration can be most effective and impactful.
Assist health care systems and other institutions in creating concrete deliverables around climate resiliency and decarbonization.
Provide educational and relationship-building opportunities for participants.
