About Event

This event is a part of LA #TechWeek - a week of events hosted by VCs and startups to bring together the tech ecosystem

Start your day off with good food, good people, good music, and good vibes. LA Tech Week and Slauson & Co. in partnership with PledgeLA will be taking over Hilltop on Slauson for the morning. Come hang and see a glimpse into what South LA has to offer.

Hilltop will only be open to those who are registered for the event. There is limited availability, so please RSVP before it's sold out. Free parking in the back.

Thank you to our friends at Gunderson for their sponsorship.

About Slauson & Co.
Slauson & Co. is a Los Angeles based early stage venture capital firm rooted in economic inclusion. The firm leads pre seed and seed stage deals and leverages its network of corporations, foundations, investors, executives, and successful founders to provide resources and guidance for accelerating the growth of the founders they back.

The Slauson & Co. inaugural $75m fund invests in tools that support the next generation of small businesses and culturally aligned consumer tech products and services. In addition, the firm runs Friends & Family, a 12-week accelerator that provides non-dilutive capital to emerging founders.

About PledgeLA
PledgeLA is a collective of L.A.-based venture capital firms and tech companies working to increase access to capital and build a more equitable tech ecosystem. Created in partnership with the Mayor of Los Angeles, the Annenberg Foundation, and over 215 member companies, PledgeLA’s members participate in an annual data accountability process. The initiative hosts a range of catalytic programs, from early career venture internships, support for underrepresented founders raising capital, and efforts to connect underrepresented fund managers to limited partners.
