About Event

Verve Coffee Roasters and GaeaStar are back with a second annual SF Climate Week event to celebrate a plastic-free future for the coffee industry. On Monday, April 22, Verve and GaeaStar will kick off their pilot program and for the first time, Verve customers will have the opportunity to order their favorite drink in a GaeaStar cup.

GaeaStar, an SF-based technology startup, uses 3D printing to create their clay cups. Made from just clay, salt and water, their to-go ceramics are a new category of product between single use & reusable cups. Verve customers can use the clay cups once for ultimate convenience, or many times to elevate their on-the-go coffee everyday. After breakage or disposal, the cups can be tossed into the normal trash without guilt because they will disintegrate back to dust, returning earth back to earth.

Industry professionals, investors, climate warriors and coffee lovers are invited to join us as the two brands celebrate the next phase of their partnership and a step forward in protecting the future of coffee. Guests will have the opportunity to hear from Verve Founder Colby Barr and GaeaStar CEO Sanjeev Mankotia, learn about the lifecycle of a GaeaStar cup, and try a drink for themselves while they network.
