​Daniel runs the podcast AXRP (short for the AI X-risk Research Podcast), where he chats with researchers who work on AI x-risk about their work and what the point of it is. He has made a career out of chatting with researchers about their work at MATS as a research manager. Before that, he earned a PhD at UC Berkeley, chatting with his colleagues about their work and scraping the bare minimum of his own together to constitute a thesis.
