Session 3 of 5:

Integrating Privacy and Security into Design Principles

  • Objective: To explore how the principles of personal privacy, security, and communication safety inform and influence the design of software applications.

  • Date: Saturday August 24, 2024

Workshop & Hackathon Series Overview

Welcome to our exciting series where young minds come together to learn about community safety and security, and then engineer a real-world application!

With each session building on the previous, this series is designed for participants aged 12-24 years and aims to educate participants on community safety, data privacy, and security.

Our workshop will provide hands-on learning experience, while our hackathon sessions will guide participants in applying what they learned to design and develop a software application.

We are offering all sessions for FREE, thanks to our workshop and hackathon sponsor Abandant Guard!

Join us for a fun and educational experience that will empower you to make a difference in your community. See you there!
