APSA's 27th Annual Fashion Talent Show: Time of Our Lives

​Join APSA for our 27th Annual Fashion Talent Show (FTS) on Saturday, April 19th, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM in Montezuma Hall at San Diego State University. FTS serves as APSA's way to bring our community together and showcase the many talents of the AAPI community. Through different performances of music, dance, fashion, and more, we celebrate our culture, experiences, and overall community.

Each year, our coordinators choose a theme, for the event, as a message for the community. This year's theme reframes enduring motifs—overcoming adversity, fostering change, and promoting unity—to discover the significance of living in the moment for the AAPI community. While navigating the contemporary world, the AAPI community continues to overcome the mountainous barriers and drive change, pressuring individuals to uphold the exponential expectations set for us or pave new ones for ourselves. We present the theme, “Time of Our Lives,” which seeks to remind the community of the significance of living in the moment, particularly as many in the AAPI community confront daily challenges and adversities. By embracing the present’s wonder, cultural barriers, and unique moments that define us as the AAPI Community, we aim to encourage individuals to focus on themselves and each other, cherishing the time of our lives.
