This informational session is designed to provide participants with an overview of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and evidence-based therapeutic approaches to its management. Please note that this is not a training course for OCD practitioner certification or clinical practice.
We will cover:
Introduction to OCD: Signs, symptoms, and diagnostic criteria
Overview of treatment approaches, including ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention)
Onsite and online protocols for working with OCD
Who can join:
Intellect providers with a clinical background (counsellors/clinical psychologists)
No prior knowledge of OCD treatment is needed

Dr. Oliver Suendermann
Vice President Clinical at Intellect
Ph.D. and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology
Dr Suendermann is a UK-trained Clinical Psychologist, educator, supervisor and researcher with over 20 years of experience in academia, healthcare and workplace mental health. He is also an honorary faculty member at the National University of Singapore (NUS), and has published extensively on mental health topics.
