Sip & Play - Oil Pastels at Roobarb Studio
Join us for a whimsical afternoon of drawing in a sun filled floral studio. The ever so talented Emma from Roobarb will be curating and styling a floral still life set-up. We will sit at long communal tables sipping wine, listening to music chatting and drawing.
The afternoon will start with some guided drawing warm-ups to loosen up our drawing muscles and explore different ways of approaching oil pastels, before we dive into free creative play and work on our own pieces. We’ll collectively leave our drawing baggage, perfectionism and inner critics in the driveway— embracing a spirit of exploration and play through color, together.
Oil pastel crayons and various toned paper will be provided, but you are always welcome to bring your own drawing pad and art materials to work with if you’d like.
Designed for beginners, artists and perfect for anyone looking to explore a new medium in a fun and creative environment.
