How to Be a Rock Star Associate (and Make Everyone Love You and Want to Work With You)

​When we start at a law firm, the thing we want most is to figure out how to be good at our job. But as junior associates, other lawyers telling us how to do things is dead last on everybody's priority list...which can make it feel impossible to know how to actually "do well" or prove that we can be valuable. Angela Vorpahl is a strategy coach for new law students and new lawyers. Ten years out of law school and amazed by the fact that "how to get good 1L grades" and "how to be a rockstar first-year associate" still felt like a mystery for people (just as it had for her when she started out), Angela decided to pour all of her expertise into teaching (1) new law students how to strategically get the 1L grades (to start a career on their own terms), and (2) new lawyers how to build a rockstar reputation at their law firm (even when it feels like you don't know what you're doing).
