10 Candles with Cameron
Ten days ago, the world went dark.
The sun failed to rise. The stars disappeared. If anyone managed to figure out why, you never heard it. Satellites had gone silent, but the power was still on and radio worked fine, so people banded together and hoped to pull through this somehow.
Until five days ago. When They came. No one knows who or what They are, exactly. At least, no one still alive. The first thing that was made clear is that They are in the dark, and They are coming for us. Only by staying in the light can we be safe.
Soon after that, power systems started to die, unable to keep up with the demand of everyone's lights on all at once. By now, all you've got left are lanterns and flashlights and maybe a generator, and whatever their fuel is, it's running low.
These things are true: The world is dark. And we are alive.
10 Candles is a tragic horror game in which you collaboratively tell the story of a small group striving against their darkened world and ultimately falling victim to it. You will see them share moments of hope, but you will also see their desperation when stretched to the breaking point, revealing the things they're capable of. You will create the characteristics that make them human, and then (literally) burn them away. The story begins by lighting ten candles, and it can last no longer than the final one guttering out.
