


Leatherworking Workshop
Join The Goza Company, The Atlanta Book Club, and The Atlanta Craft Club Sunday June 29th to make your very own leather pouch and swap books. We will have a fun time learning the basics of leather working while yapping and swapping our favorite books.
Materials Provided:
Precut leather pieces with punctured holes
Thread, a needle, and a drawstring to assemble your pouch
A printed pattern so you can recreate the project at home
Workshop Demonstration:
Learn how to use the included pattern to cut and hole punch leather pieces.
Learn the proper techniques for threading and handling leather.
Explore basic stitching techniques to assemble your pouch.
Tips for securing stitching ends
How to attach and adjust the drawstring for a functional, stylish closure.
Optional Extras:
Additional leather will be available for purchase at the workshop for $5, giving you enough material to make another mini pouch at home.
This hands-on experience is designed to inspire your creativity and leave you with the skills to continue crafting on your own.
