🌟 Panellists:
Nahele Moon - Tech lead. Nahele wrote his first line of code at 13 and hasn’t stopped building since. By 17, he’d already founded his first software company — and at 18, he took a mobile game to the top 10 in 17 countries on the App Store, all with zero marketing budget. By 25, Nahele had stepped into senior engineering roles, leading teams and building technical art pipelines for 3D NFT collections for names like Seth Green, Heavy Metal Magazine, and 2Pac — producing over 150,000 assets. Most recently, he single-handedly built a simulation tool now used by Fortune 15 companies to support multibillion-dollar infrastructure projects.
Warwick Donaldson - Seasoned Pre-Seed to Series A capital raising expert, drawing on his experience as a 3x founder, investor, operator, and coach. He is the founder of CapXcentric, specialising in Australian DeepTech capital raising and founder advocacy. Formerly Head of Finance and Operations at MedTech scale-up Nutromics, Warwick was instrumental in raising $5.7m. Since then, he has collaborated with numerous MedTech startups, leveraging his involvement in 150 capital raises totalling $400m and $50b in debt transactions. Warwick also publishes capital raising insights for founders via his newsletter, ‘The Aussie Startup Capital Nerd’.
Calvin Hoenes - Calvin Hoenes is a product strategist, technologist, and systems thinker focused on building autonomous futures that benefit all. He’s the Co-Founder of Props Labs and MeshMesh, and Managing Director at opentelos. With over a decade of experience across Europe and Australia, Calvin has led design and product roles at startups, creative studios, and emerging tech companies. His work blends systems design, deep tech, and human connection, bringing clarity to complexity and turning bold visions into real-world products. Whether building decentralised infrastructure or redesigning digital platforms, Calvin’s approach centres on empathy, collaboration, and unlocking human potential through thoughtful, regenerative innovation.
Scotty Allen - From classroom to C-suite, Scotty’s journey spans education, EdTech, and high-growth startups—bringing product thinking to the frontlines of early-stage entrepreneurship. After leading digital transformation in schools, he became a product leader across multiple startups, learning from both failures and unicorns. Now through The Product Bus, he helps non-technical founders validate faster, grow smarter, and stay in control of their vision and equity.
Trent Scheirs - Grant Help’s Co-Founder and Director, Trent Scheirs, has successfully secured over 15 different government grant programs. Trent is passionate about client education, regularly hosting webinars and seminars to share insights into the grant landscape and offer continuous support for his clients' businesses. Such dedication earned him and Lachlan Catanese recognition as finalists for the Business News Australia's Melbourne Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, highlighting their devotion to guiding clients through every step.
