About Event

Join us at the Bonnie Doon Hall on January 11th for a relaxed and inspiring Open Weave!

Bring your own project to work on, or if you’re between projects, Betty and Freyja will be hosting a mini-workshop where you can learn how to weave a beautiful willow spiral. It’s a perfect opportunity to connect with fellow weavers, try something new, and enjoy a creative afternoon!

Workshop start times will be: 10:00 am, 11:30am and 1:00 pm.

Willow spirals are a fun and easy project. We recommend families work on these together, with an adult holding the willow while the child folds the strands over each other.

You can hang them from a tree this winter and in the spring you can use them as a plant support. They also make excellent swords or wands, if the need arises ;)

This Open Weave is free to attend. If you would like to participate in the mini-workshop, pricing starts at $18, with the option to contribute more if you’re able.
