Dinks & Donuts - Free Pickleball Tournament
Bring donuts to share and play in a pickleball tournament with prizes and giveaways.
The tournament will be in a King's Court format. If you win, you move up. If you lose, you move down through the different courts. You will constantly be challenging new teams. Your goal is to get to the "King's Court" with the gold wristband and stay as long as possible. King's Court winner on each level will earn the best gift card prizes.

Possible Questions...
Is this really a free tournament?
Yes! Bring your friends and some donuts to make it a party. We plan on playing hard, eating well, and giving away prizes.
What will happen if there is bad weather (rain or too windy)?
August is hot thus we are playing early in the morning. If it is too windy or rainy we may re-schedule or try and play at another venue.
When is the tournament?
August 10th (Saturday)
Will you be playing on multiple courts?
Yes - come ready to play a lot of pickleball versus various teams on 8 courts for around an hour or more. We are trying to limit each level to around 15 teams so make sure your friends sign up early if they are interested.
To help reduce the wait time here is the schedule:
4.0+ level will start at 7:00 AM (it is okay to arrive early to warm up)
3.5 level will start at 8:00 AM
3.0 level will start at 9:00 AM
2.0 and above will start at 10:00 AM

7 AM and yes :)
Where are you playing?
8 courts at Ellison Park Courts. These are first come, first serve courts. There is construction going on that is impacting the parking so please plan accordingly.

Is it a mixed doubles tournament?
Yes. Anyone can create a team and participate in any combination that best fits them. You are welcome to come by yourself and join other individuals to play. Please register so we can anticipate the number of people coming.
How will I know who to play?
We plan on giving a name tag and sticker for your level so you know who to play. You win and you move up and you lose and you move down. The winners of the King's Court will be wearing fun gear to distinguish them.
Are there prizes?
Oh yes. We plan on passing out a lot of gift cards and prizes as possible for each level (not DUPR-rated just fun). Come to the free tournament and hopefully come away with some prizes and food :)
Are there sponsors?
Yes, the kind businesses of Layton City have donated several gift cards that will be given out at the event. If you know anyone that would be interested in being a sponsor to give stuff away have them text or call the number below.
