Startup skills series: International expansion

​Fireside chat about international expansion and writing the Uber playbook with Megan Zoback, early employee at Uber. Megan spent over six years at Uber and helped take the company global. She was an international launcher, then was the project manager coordinating all aspects of getting new countries ready for Uber, she then headed up the expansion efforts across the Americas and then returned to the Bay Area. Living in her suitcase, she would be the first woman on the ground in a new market, hire the first country manager, set up and launch Uber in a number of markets. Prior to Uber, Megan was an early employee at Jawbone, and she spent a summer with the VC firm Atomico and did both her bachelor and MBA at Stanford. Today, Megan is startup partner lead at Stripe. In this session, we will discuss all things international expansion and launches and we will try to get an insight into the Uber playbook.
