About Event

Evaluating research outcomes and measuring impacts has historically been limited to metrics related to traditional outputs like publications. These tend to ignore community needs and non-traditional outputs.

Join us for a webinar exploring emerging movements on research impact assessment in Canada and a new way to assess research focusing on collaborative and community-engaged research. Learn how designing and completing evaluations alongside research partners can lead to more inclusive and equitable research impact assessments.

What to expect:

  • How the University of Calgary (UCalgary) is moving the dial on measuring impact

  • An example of the implementation of the San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA)

  • An interactive run-through of the Knowledge Engagement Impact Assessment Toolkit

Please download this toolkit in advance as we will be going through it during the live session.
