I’m excited to invite you to the first edition of The Kitchen Table by the Eleven AM Club! We’ll be cooking from Five Morsels of Love, a beautiful collection of Andhra recipes. Each person will pick a dish from the book, make it, and bring it over to share. You’re welcome to try just one dish—or two if you’re feeling adventurous!
Why Five Morsels of Love?
Archana Pidathala’s Five Morsels of Love is more than a cookbook—it’s a tribute to her grandmother, Nirmala, who left behind a handwritten Telugu cookbook. Archana took on the project to fulfill her grandmother’s dream of sharing those recipes in English. What started as a family project blossomed into a celebration of Andhra cuisine and a way to preserve her grandmother’s culinary legacy. By gathering to make and share these recipes, we’re partaking in that love and tradition.
Over the years I have loved cooking from the Five Morsels of Love, the beautiful work of Archana Pidathala, and I’m hoping by the end of this meal you too are moved to cook more.
