About the speakers:
Rando Rannus, General Partner at Siena Secondary Fund is a former startup founder with a successful exit and now building one of the 1st dedicated VC secondary funds in the CEE/Nordics region. He is one of the founding members of Estonian Founders Society and an active member in EstVCA.
Dr. Simon Schachinger, is an attorney and one of the five founding partners at Orbit, a German boutique law firm specializing in fund law. He advises both domestic and international fund managers and management teams in the private equity and venture capital sector on fund structuring, fund management, and fund investments. A particular focus of his practice is advising on the transfer, restructuring, and partial sale of fund interests — including secondary transactions, continuation funds, and strip sales — as well as on tax matters, particularly tax structuring and compliance.
